affiliated with a premier provider of international nurses sourced from the
Philippines. Our international provider has unique access to affiliated nursing schools,
hospitals, clinical immersion programs, training facilities, training practice protocols,
recruitment, immigration, licensure processing and relocation/assimilation infrastructure.
This allows us to offer nurses from the Philippines who have completed the best preparation
possible for work in U.S. healthcare organizations.
Solving the nursing shortage requires strategic planning. We would like to be
your partner in this process and can offer three primary staffing models which
can be tailored to your needs:
Permanent Nurses
8.North.Staffing will provide fully credentialed nurses that match your
specifications for a one time fee. We will handle all recruitment,
credentialing, immigration, and relocation costs. Our internationally-sourced
nurses typically sign a 2-3 year employment contract thereby helping you to
increase staff retention.
Temp to Perm
Under this model, our provider becomes the employer of the Philippine nurse meeting your
specifications and assumes all support costs with the exception of housing, the first
60 to 90 days of which is typically paid by the hospital, and thereafter is paid by
the nurse. Compensation to the nurse would be comparable to your existing wage structure.
Our provider would further charge you a lease rate to reflect our costs, overhead, etc.
At the end of six months, you can exercise an option to buy-out the contract and employ
the nurse directly for a one time charge.
This model provides you with an extended opportunity to ensure a good fit
between the nurse and your requirements without the potential headaches (and
expense) associated with termination in the event of a misfit. (Note the nurse
is treated and paid like an employee from day one) Moreover, this scenario
attempts to be sensitive to hospital finances as initial costs might be drawn
from funds already budgeted for temporary staff. Lastly, the Temp to Perm model
may provide timing flexibility as nurses can usually be drawn from our staffing pipeline
within a 60-120 day period.
Travel Nurses and Allied Professionals
8.North.Staffing also has the ability to provide U.S. sourced travel nurses and
allied professionals at competitive rates for 13 week assignments. We provide a
high touch relationship with our nursing team, and pride ourselves in making the
process truly turnkey for hospital clients.
